Sharpton on Hardball

First, let me say I did not watch the program. MSNBC does not deserve the time of day from me. But I did try to watch the video, and must admit, I had to turn it off and leave the room several times just to get through it. Yuk! Hardball? Good old hold-their-feet-to-the-fire Chris Matthews? It looked more like a hippie love fest to me. Let’s see, Sharpton insults Mitt Romney and then claims Romney is attacking him. And, all of a sudden, the bigger story in the media is the Mormon faith. Are they Christians? Is Mormonism a cult? Etc., etc., etc. I am neither a Mormon, nor a Republican, but good old Al has turned this into a referendum on the Mormons. Let’s bring the subject back to Sharpton’s remarks. Many bloggers are saying that people like me are just mad about Imus being fired, and we’re trying to get even with Sharpton. Well, right on, that’s exactly how I feel. They have hit the nail on the head! If Reagan was the “teflon president” and Gotti was the “teflon Don”, this guy is the “Teflon JERK”. And Chris Matthews practically kissing his feet doesn’t paint a pretty picture.
