Do you think Don Imus got what he deserved or do you think he was mistreated or do you think her should be-?

Tobeornottobe asked:

banned from television and radio?

What do you think about the situation?Should people be banned from television and radio for making racist remarks on television and radio?Should we take it a step further and ban all music and entertainment that has racist and offensive lyrics, comments, jokes, and statements about women and minorities from radio and television and punish violators with fines and with having their right to be on radio and television in the future revoked?

How far should we go to protect ourselves, our children, and our society from racism, sexism, homophobia, and other discriminatory comments on radio and television?
Sorry, in the original question, I accidently added an “r” where there should not have been one.

The question should have started off as:

Do you think Don Imus got what he deserved or do you think he was mistreated or do you think he should be banned from radio and television?

I don’t think he deserved losing his job over this. A two week suspension would have been enough. This has gone way too far and people are way to sensitive and defensive about these matters.
